  3. What is cell type? Prokaryotic- describes an organism with cells that do not have a nucleus Eukaryotic- describes an organism with cells that do have a nucleus

  4. Archaebacteria • One celled • No separate nucleus • Example: bacteria

  5. Eubacteria • True bacteria • Unicellular and prokaryotic • Some can live inside of you • Examples: E. coli, stapylococcus

  6. Protist • Single-celled or multicellular • Have nucleus and other cell structures • Examples: algae (plant-like), amoeba, protozoa (animal-like)
