  5. OD EVALUATION • Undertaken to build on Sustaining Change • Focus on relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, sustainability • Undertaken in partnership between UNRWA, EU, US and UK ORGANiSATIONAL DEVELOPMENT

  6. ACTIVITY BASED COSTING • Tendering process underway (final stages of awarding) • Expected results: - • Full absorption costing of main activities financed by GF • Identification of key cost drivers per Field of main activites • Greater understanding of the causes of cost differentials • A model to generate standard reports on costs per main activities • Cost information useful to eradicate wasteful expenditure INCREASED EFFICIENCY

ENTERPRISE RESOURCE PLANNING • Project on-going – in final stages of ERP assessment • Preference to partnership rather then develop stand alone system • High level delegation to WFP (27-28 June) • Assess viability of partnership • Allow for more accurate estimation of costs • Briefing to sub-committee will be organised once next steps identified INCREASED EFFICIENCY

  8. QUALITY SYSTEMS FOR QUALITY EDUCATION • Focus on quality and critical role of teachers • Aligned with national and international frameworks • Increased academic performance and teacher satisfaction EDUCATION PROGRAMME

FAMILY HEALTH TEAM APPROACH • Holistic approach to patient care and management • Aligned with national and international frameworks • Better diagnosis, longer consultation time, more efficient use of exisiting resources, increased staff and patient satisfaction, more effective treatment of chronic illnesses HEALTH PROGRAMME
