The CCIC initiative emphasizes the importance of public sector innovation in creating public value across European regions. Unlike most analyses that focus on private sector innovation, this project seeks to define and promote effective regional innovation policies tailored for the public domain. In collaboration with 14 partners from 10 countries, CCIC aims to identify and transfer best practices, analyze innovative financial instruments, improve public procurement, and engage civil society. By October 2023, over 850 respondents contributed to our findings, laying a foundation for developing innovative strategies that benefit local communities.
