  2. What is the Kingdom of Heaven? It is the place of… God’s Reign Through Christ Where He works Obedience in His People Where He blesses His People Where He, through Human Instruments, Declares His Glory Where He, Through Human Instruments, Sows the Seed of His Word

  3. What is it Worth --- to You --- to Know… That God, Through Christ and in the Power of the Holy Spirit, reigns in your life… now? That your sins are forgiven…. now? That you are eternally secure, certain to go to heaven…now? That you will never suffer the agony of the pangs of hell that we deserve?

  4. Is there anything Greater than Having these Privileges? YES --- There IS Something EVEN GREATER! The Greatest Thing about being in the Kingdom of Heaven is to… KNOW GOD

  5. All This is Yours Because…. God --- by Grace and by Grace Alone --- Adopted you as His and placed you in His Kingdom…. Now. Ephesians 1:4 He choose us before the foundation of the world that we should be holy and blameless before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will

  6. All This is Ours Because…. God Changed your.. Bad Soil Into Good Soil Dead Heart into an Alive Heart and Placed Faith in your Heart so that the result is… you Confess Christ and Enter the Kingdom

  7. Of What Value --- To You --- Is … Knowing that you have eternal life? Knowing that you have peace with God? Knowing that God the Holy Spirit lives within you, now… and forever? Knowing that all this is yours --- without your having done, thought, said, or believed anything to warrant such privileges?

  8. Of What Value is All of This? The Parable of the Hidden Treasure Matthew 13:44 “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.”

  9. The Parable of the Pearl of Great Price Matthew 13:45, 46 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, 46 who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it.

  10. Both Parables Teach That… Being in the Kingdom of God is a GREATER thing to Be Part of than everything else in all of Reality Matt 13:44 “Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.”

  11. If Being in the Kingdom of God is the Greatest Thing… What would then be the Best thing we could do for OTHERS? It would be to TELL the WORLD?!!

The Parable of the Harvest Matthew 9:35-38 And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; 38 therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

  13. The Harvest Imagery… The Harvest is of Wheat ---- and the Wheat Represents People --- People who need to hear the Gospel of the Kingdom The Laborers are those who Share the Word of God and Serve Others

  14. This Parable is a…. Call to Share the Gospel… which takes us back to the Parable of the Sower…

  15. The Sower and the Seed The Sower is…. The Triune God The Seed is… the Word of God Men are --- the hand of God ---the agent that God utilizes to spread the Seed

  16. Where Do We Sow the Word? “A sower went out to sow. 4 And as he sowed, some seeds fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured them. 5 Other seeds fell on rocky ground, where they did not have much soil, and immediately they sprang up, since they had no depth of soil, 6 but when the sun rose they were scorched. And since they had no root, they withered away. 7 Other seeds fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked them. 8 Other seeds fell on good soil and produced grain, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. 9 He who has ears, let him hear.”

  17. Where Do We Sow the Word? Onto ALL People --- It is not for us to Know the Heart of those with Whom We Share --- That is for God to Know… We just Share the Word with Everyone

  18. Why Should We Sow the Word? It is a Command: Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

  19. Why Should We Sow the Word? Matthew 13:45, 46 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, 46 who, on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it.

  20. Why Should We Sow the Word? Because the Kingdom of God is the Greatest Thing in All Reality… Nothing that can be Shared is a Greater Blessing to Others than Sharing the Word of God

  21. Is there anything Greater than Sharing the Word to the Benefit of Others? YES --- There IS Something EVEN BETTER! Sharing the Word of God Simply Because What You Share is the Declaration of God’s Glory! No Greater Topic can be Spoken Of!
