McMaster Commerce Community Outreach: Successful Fundraising Initiatives for Local Shelters

In October, McMaster's Commerce Society, led by the Community Outreach Committee, participated in impactful fundraising events, including CIBC Run for the Cure ($600), Movember ($230), and the 5 Days for the Homeless campaign, which raised $10,200. Building on last year's success of $8,133, this year's campaign goal was exceeded, engaging the entire McMaster student body. Funds were donated to Good Shepherd's Notre Dame House, a Hamilton youth shelter that provides 24-hour support and a six-week program aiding youth independence. Our goals include raising $10,000 and securing 25 new mattresses.
