Progress Update on RPC Lab & Upscope 904 at Prevessin Site

Building 904 at the Prevessin site encompasses approximately 1000m² and includes space for CMS RPCs. An air conditioning (AC) system is requested for a 450m² area to maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels. Currently, the ISR CSC production facility has about 1500m² and an additional electronic testing area. The new epoxy flooring has been installed in the RPC and CSC spaces. CERN is expected to supply and fit the AC system, with the project overseen by a dedicated integration team. Special thanks to Austin for the ongoing support.

  1. RPC lab & Upscope 904 Building 904 is on the Prevessin site Total space of approx 1000m2allocted to CMS RPCs . AC is requested for 450m2. At present we have approx 1500m2 in the ISR CSC production facility and present Electronic test area not shown RPC lab & Upscope 904

  2. Status • The floor of the RPC and CSC space is newly covered in epoxy flooring. • PH Dept has been requested to cover a space of 450m2 to be AC for temperature and humidity • CERN has been approached to supply and fit the AC. RPC lab & Upscope 904
