  1. It was a sunny summer day. A wolf was passing by a vineyard.

  2. Looking at the ripe grapes, the wolf exclaimed, “How delicious they must be!”

  3. The wolf really wanted to taste the grapes.

  4. Unfortunately, there was a fence surrounding the vineyard. He tried to get through the fence, but the gap was too small!

  5. Then came an idea: “Ha, ha! Why don`t I starve myself for a few days… Then, my stomach will become slim enough for me to go through.”

  6. Days after days passed… So he waited in front of the fence… He still could not fit through. He became thinner… weaker… and emaciated…

  7. Finally one day, he gave it another try and voila! He made it through!

  8. He gulped down the juicy grapes. Ah, it was so delicious!

  9. And before he knew, he had eaten up all the grapes in the vineyard.

  10. “Ah, that was yummy! Shall I leave this place now?” howled the wolf.

  11. But his belly was way too full to fit through the fence! He sighed.

  12. The wolf tried to force himself out by hitting against the fence as hard as he could. But that was no use.

  13. He had little choice but to starve himself again… So he waited… Days after days passed… He became thinner… weaker… and emaciated…

  14. Until finally, he could fit through. Exhausted, he escaped the barren vineyard.

  15. His stomached complained of starvation as he left with deep regrets.

  16. The End
