  3. ENDURING REQUIREMENTS / DUTIES • Monday – Thursday (after school practice for teams) 14:45 – 16:00-1630 • Thursdays - 1700 and 1900 Chains/Travis • PT days Tuesdays and Fridays • Academic classes : Wednesdays • Uniform day / Inspections : Thursdays

  4. AUGUST • 12-22nd– Boot Camp / Orientation • 26 -30th (1STweek of school) Uniform issue/inspection and 1st PT event on Friday

  5. SEPTEMBER • 3rd – Booster Club Meeting - 1900 • 6th- Color Guard – Mercer Stadium - 1700 • 10th – Open House – 1800 • 14th – JROTC Picnic • 20th– Homecoming game –Color Guard / Sword Arch – Mercer Stadium • 21st – Kempner Drill Meet • 28th – Warriors Clays Shoot - ASC

  6. OCTOBER • 3rd – Parent / Teacher Conference • 4th– Color Guard Mercer Home Game • 5th – Booster Club Garage sale • 25th – Wings Over Houston Air Show • 26th – Bush Drill Meet • 26th – Color Guard Mercer Home Game

NOVEMBER • 2nd – Color Guard – Mercer Varsity Football • 8th– Color Guard / Escorts– Rotary Club 1800 @ Safari Texas • 9th- Color Guard – Mercer Varsity Football • 11th – Veteran’s day parade – DT Houston • 16th – USMC Birthday Ball – Safari Club • 23 Nov – 1 Dec – Thanksgiving Break • TBD - Marine Mom’s Food drive

  8. DECEMBER • 7th – Willowridge HS Drill Meet • 13th- Buffalo Soldier’s Museum trip • 13th – Kempner Mil Ball – Color Guard • 16th– 20th – Final Exams • 22nd– 7th Jan – Christmas / New Year Break • TBD – Wreaths over Houston

  9. JANUARY • 18th – 20th Holiday • Practice for Tomball, Rice and State Drill meets

  10. FEBRUARY • 1st – Tomball NJROTC Drill Meet • 22rd – Rice University NROTC Drill Meet • Prep for Jack Hays State Meet

  11. MARCH • 1st- BUDA, TEXAS USMC STATE - DRILL MEET! • 8th -16th– SPRING BREAK! • 21st – VFW KATY TRIP • 22nd – KEMPNER HIGH SCHOOL JV DRILL MEET

  12. APRIL • Drill Competition prep • 8th – Final PFT (Grade) • 12th – First annual “COME AND TAKE IT” William B. Travis Drill Competition • 18th-20th – Holiday • 26th – Kempner PT Competition • 29th – FBISD Pass and Review • 30th– USMC JROTC Awards Night

  13. MAY • 10th – Judson High School - San Antonio Joint Services PT Meet • 24th -26th – Memorial Day • 25th – Color Guard – First Baptist Church • 26th– Color Guard - Fulshear, TX.
