  3. Some Age Old Questions Why did God allow this to happen? Where’s God when this happen? Job is the oldest book in the Bible Job asked the question, “Where is God in all of my suffering”

  4. Some Age Old Questions The Disciples asked the question, “Where is God in this storm” Matthew 14:22-23 22 Immediately He made the disciples get into the boat and go ahead of Him to the other side, while He sent the crowds away. 23 After He had sent the crowds away,

  5. Matthew 14:23-24 He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray; and when it was evening, He was there alone. 24 But the boat was already a long distance from the land, battered by the waves; for the wind was contrary.

  7. What Do We Do When We Can’t See God? We trust Him with our emotions We lean on Him We let him be the decisivething about our choices and decisions we make 2 Corinthians 6:14 Do not bound together with unbelievers for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness Or what fellowship has light and darkness

  8. What Do We Do When We Can’t See God? John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

  9. The Reason Why We Lack Joy In Our Lives is Because: 1. We trust our emotions instead of trusting God in our decision making process 2. We lean on our own understanding instead of leaning on the wisdom of God 3. We fail to acknowledge Him in our decisionmaking process and instead we ignore biblical principles

  11. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all of your heart That is your emotions Lean not upon your own understanding That is the thought process-the mind (Think it through) In all thy ways acknowledge Him That is the path you walk And He shall direct your path

JOY If you want joy, real joy, wonderful joy Let Jesus come into your heart If you want joy, real joy, wonderful joy Let Jesus come into your heart Your sins He’ll wash away Your night He’ll turn to day Your life He’ll make it over anew If you want joy, real joy, wonderful joy Let Jesus come into your heart
