  2. It is Critical that We Count the Cost of Discipleship “For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it?” -- Luke 14:28

  3. Count carnal things as loss in order to gain spiritual things! But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ. -- Philippians 3:7

  4. A grief shared is only halfa grief, a joy shared is double joy Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. -- Romans 12:15

  5. Never ADD to or SUBTRACTfrom God’s Word You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. -- Deut. 4:2

  6. Never ADDto or SUBTRACTfrom God’s Word Every word of God is tested; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. Do not add to His words lest He reprove you, and you be proved a liar. -- Proverbs 30:5-6

  7. Never Add Sin to Sin “Woe to the rebellious children,” says the LORD, “Who take counsel, but not of Me, And who devise plans, but not of My Spirit, That they may add sin to sin” -- Isaiah 30:1

  8. Count Your Numberless Blessings Sometimes we are so busy adding up our troubles we forget to count our blessings. “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.” -- Ephesians 1:3

  9. Many, O LORD my God, are Your wonderful works Which You have done; And Your thoughts toward us Cannot be recounted to You in order; If I would declare and speak of them, They are more than can be numbered. -- Psalm 40:5
