  2. NutritionFacts Know what you eat: Grow your own veg! Information sheets • Nameplate and title • Nameplate = generic title at top of Page 1 • Give each sheet its own title • Don’t use acronyms in nameplate or title • Keep same nameplate (type style and size) on each fact sheet

Information sheets • Design • Keep it simple • 2 columns better than 1 • Be consistent • Use second colour for nameplate, titles, subtitles, “sidebar” boxes, graphs, drawings etc. • If funds limited, print nameplate on blank sheets in advance • Most important info at start of page 1; least important material at end

  4. Information sheets • Body text • Use serif type (eg, Times New Roman) • Not sans serif (eg, Arial) or italics (hard to read) • Titles • One type family for body text, one for titles • Keep titles short – one line is best, two lines max • Don’t use ALL CAPITALS • Don’t use SPECIALEFFECTS
