Despite growing investment in Education India continues to face stern challenges…… • India, sadly, • Has Millions of Child Labour deprived of Education • 55% of India’s population are living in Poverty • 40% of world’s Malnourished Children • 35% of its population is Illiterate • 15% reach High School, and • 7% are Graduate

  5. To bring an entire generation out of the cycle of poverty, “Education” is the most powerful “TOOL” ……..Thus Anant Education Initiative was born……

  6. About Anant Education Initiative “Anant”, a CSR initiative of the Infinity Group, is aimed to - “Empower Education & Eliminate Poverty”

  7. Mission & Vision - Anant’sMissionsuggests that meritorious students from the economically weaker sections of the society will be given Scholarships for further studies. Anant’s Vision is to empower education, eliminate poverty, promote education, culture and all round development of the society irrespective of any cast, creed, faith or race.

  8. Anant’s Concept and Dream - We shall offer academic scholarships to a large number of  meritorious students to pursue higher studies after successful completion of high school education. We aspire to provide supporting educational infrastructure, to facilitate higher education and provide vocational training and motivational workshops to help in overall moral, personality and life style development of such students.

  9. Some Quick Facts - • 2011– First Year – • Total Applications Received - 1,261 Students • Shortlisted / Interviewed & Finally Selected - 252 Students • 121 Female & 131 Male • Scholarship Rs.6,000/- Per Student Each Year till Graduation • Rs.500/- Per Month Directly to Bank Accounts
