Othello Music Choose a song that accurately describes one or more characters in the play as well as their role from beginning to end (easy on the rap songs) OR Choose a song that clearly describes a situation/plot Print out a copy with your assignment Bring a sample or video URL to play for the class (or include in your PPP) lyrics only on video Example: I Heard it through the Grapevine by Marvin Gaye http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hajBdDM2qdg

Othello Music Choose a partner (your choice) to work with Both must present by dividing the number of slides in half Both will receive individual presentation grades You may certainly work alone if you feel it is in the best interest of your grade If one of you Is absent for the presentation, the other is responsible for the entire PPP You will NOT be able to make this up!

  4. Musical Analysis Create a theme statement for your song(as it relates to the play) Compare the song to the play Use direct quotes from song and play for analysis Provide clear examples and explanations Create PPP to illustrate your points
