  3. Command and Control Unit 13: Command and Control in the Uniformed Public Services. This unit is all about understanding how leaders in the UPS control and command the people that they are in charge of. .

  4. Army Time!!

  5. Command and Control In this unit you will begin to learn what it is like to be within Military Training as we are going to replicate it over the upcoming weeks. We are going to work on: Teamwork, Communication, Fitness, Leadership, Courage and Punishment. Assignment Class Leaders

  6. Assignment Two Parts of the Assignment. 1st: Assignment Booklet 2nd: Group Activity. Broken down into small groups of 4 and you must create a PowerPoint presentation on how to deal with one of these scenarios. Fire on the First Floor Corridor Suspect Package in a classroom. Suspect Vehicle in the Car Park. A student collapses of a heart problem.

  9. Scenario One You are working in a restaurant on a busy Saturday night. A group of 4 have just come into the restaurant and one of the party is in a wheelchair. You explain that the only table available is towards the back of the restaurant. The lady within the wheelchair begins to shout at you and explain that discrimination is the reason why you are moving her. There is also a shortage of wine and the restaurant is getting full up quickly. How would you solve these problems?

  13. Next Lesson Next lesson will be a practical fitness session. You will be tested to see your fitness levels but also give you an insight into how you would be treated if you joined a military unit. Look at what types of command and control techniques I use. Bring kit that you don t mind getting muddy.
