Enhancing Awareness of Pollution through the UL Eco App

The UL Eco App, developed by a team of researchers, aims to address pollution awareness among University of Limerick (UL) students and staff. Using surveys and observations around UL, we identified key pollution types, including air, land, vehicle emissions, and littering. The app will feature tools for reporting pollution hotspots, accessing advice on environmental friendliness, and locating waste disposal options. It seeks to empower users to actively participate in reducing pollution in their daily lives while promoting sustainability across the campus.
