  1. Habits to Improve Your Head Shaving Experience When it comes to shaving with a bald head razor, we’ve all been there: the multiple attempts at making a go of it; the nicks and cuts that inevitably occur; the thought of blood from a cut blade seeping and staining the bathroom counter, is what comes to the mind. Yep, it’s as harrowing for us as it is for you. However, even if you have had experiences like these in the past, there are still ways to improve your head shaving experience. The following habits will help you drastically reduce the pain and redness associated with head shaves, so read on! Learn the Basics of Shaving Before you even think about trying to use a bald head razor and shaving your head, you should take a few minutes to learn the basics of shaving. There are many different tools that help with the process, including electric razors and safety razors. If you have never shaved your head before, it is a good idea to start off with an electric razor. Electric razors are easy to use especially if you don’t know what type of head you will be shaving. However, they tend to be a little more expensive than safety razors which start off less expensive and can eventually be more costly depending on how often you decide to replace blades. •Apply Aftershave balm: Aftershave balms are a great way to help soothe the skin post-shave. They can also be used as a preventative measure for cuts and abrasions that may occur as you go about shaving your head. This is because aftershave balms contain ingredients like aloe Vera, coconut oil, and rose water, which all have anti-inflammatory properties that will protect your skin from irritation. Apply an aftershave balm before heading to the bathroom. Then, use it every time you shave your head with a razor. Apply it to both head and neck areas, then rinse off with cool water to close pores in the same direction they opened up when you shaved. This will help prevent pimples or rashes from forming later on. •Clean Up Immediately: As soon as you are done using the bald head shaver, wash off the clumps of hair and shaving cream and clean up any stray hairs. If you’re in a rush to get back to whatever you were doing before, this makes for an easy clean-up. Plus, it doesn’t take long! •Check for Skin Irritation before Shaving: One of the more important steps you can take in the process of shaving your head is checking to see whether or not your skin is going to be irritated. This helps you avoid the nicks and cuts that come with shaving hair too close to your scalp, as well as uncomfortable side effects from over-shaving. To check for irritation, apply a small amount of baby oil to the area around your ear and neck before you shave. If there is any redness or sensitivity then stop and apply some Vaseline instead for a few minutes. You’ll be able to continue with your razor-free head shave after about 10 minutes of rest!

  2. •Don’t Over-Shave:The number-one tip for improving your head shaving experience is to not over-shave. Given that you want to take off as little hair as possible on a head shave, you should leave some stubble behind. Doing so will eliminate any chance of razor burn and ingrown hairs. Conclusion Be sure to always check your skin for irritation before shaving, but you should also make sure you are using the right kind of shaving cream and that your razor is easy to use and safe for your skin. You can also optimize your head shaving experience by learning the basics of shaving. For starters, you’ll want to learn how to use aftershave balm and clean up immediately after shaving. In addition, you should check for skin irritation before shaving, and don’t over-shave.
