The DofE is… …the world’s leading achievement award for young people. It encourages young people to live life as an adventure.
It helps in the future As employers, what is the most important activity from school? The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (‘DofE’) • Work experience • Community activities • World Challenge • Young Enterprise • Team Sporting activities • A mum rang up to tell us about an interview …
Here’s what last seasons Silver students said … • “It's a great way to extend your expedition skills. You also go somewhere different and more interesting than bronze.” • “I finished bronze not sure whether I wanted to carry on. I'm glad I did it and it's a shame so many people stop after bronze. I enjoyed silver a lot more and am now hoping to do gold next year! “ • “I think that it was a very good experience which I wouldn't have experienced without silver dofe and have made my friendships within the group better.”
