Mr Js PC • Mr J has a PC with a Pentium 4 505J chip running at 2.66GHz with 1MB cache. The motherboard in his computer is a gigabyte GA-G41MT-S2P G41 Socket 775 with 2 x DDR3 sockets, Onboard VGA, 7.1 Channel Audio mATX form factor. He has a 1TB SATA HDD, and 2x2GB DDR RAM. There are no other expansion cards currently being used. • He wants to upgrade to 8GB of memory, a HD graphics card and a multi core processor. • Produce him an upgrade spec for the new components - he has requested not to replace the motherboard.

Steps to upgrade……GFX Card • Find out which expansion slots the motherboard has….. • Visit the vendors / manufacturers site • All are free so the x16 full length PCI-e slot is the best to use.
