Introduction • Who are we? • Environmental health is defined as "the discipline that focuses on the health interrelationships between people and their environment, promotes human health and well-being, and fosters a safe and healthy environment." (NACCHO, 2012) • What is expected of EHO’s? • To provide a safe and healthy environment for every community • Why we must evolve? • We owe it to the Sanitarians before us to continue to grow and enhance our craft. People are counting on us to be competent and aggressive in protecting the health of their families.
