The TRLN Endeca Project

The TRLN Endeca Project, led by Derek Rodriguez, aims to improve search functionality across the Triangle Research Libraries Network (TRLN). Phase 1 (June 2007 - March 2008) focuses on leveraging NC State University’s expertise with Endeca to enable simultaneous searches across all TRLN collections and enhance 'last mile' services. Future developments will include a shopping cart feature, refined relevance ranking, and support for various metadata formats. The project promises enriched content and integrated request services to benefit users.
