Introduction. • The show first aired on 24th of may 2011; the show is set in Newcastle, UK. • The viewing figures for the show were 993, 000. • The creator of Geordie Shore is MTV. • Producers: Tom Hutchings, Lauren Benson, Suzanne Regan. • Cast: Vicky Pattison, Gary Beadle, Charlotte Crosby, Holly Hagan, Sophie Kasaei, Rebecca Walker, Jason Gardner, James Tindale, Joel Corry. • Directors: Max Barber and Michael Rees. • Production management: Petrina Good, Rebecca Knight, Chris Wiseman.

  3. Primary Research. • Sample of people: 14 male and female students, 6 females and 8 males Within the age range of 16 to 19. • Quantitative data. • 57% of people like the show. • 42% of people did not like the show. • Not reliable because didn’t ask a large range of people.

  4. Secondary Research. • Series 1 introduced the cast; Charlotte, Gaz, Vicky, Sophie, Greg, Holly and Jay. There was a special shot in Magaluf. • Series 2 started on 31st of January 2012. • Series 3; June 26th 2012, Cancun Mexico. • Series 4; November 6th 2012. • Series 5; February 19th 2013. • Series 6; July 6th 2013, Sydney Australia. • Series 7; 17th September 2013.
