In recent years, sugar has been labelled as “sweet poison”,”toxic”,”deadly”, and has be blamed for several health problems which largely include diabetes and obesity. Do you know, a teaspoon of sugar has only 16 calories! But actually that's not the problem. The problem lays with the company sugar keeps. That’s because no one eats sugar on its own, but with lots of fat and refined starches. You cannot bake a decent cake without fat, flour, and sugar. Can you? No chocolate biscuits. No lollies. No cup cakes. No fizzy drinks. No Magnums or caramel frappucinnos. When you are cutting sugar from your diet, you are cutting out every food that nutritionist say you shouldn’t eat.You're removing "junk food" thatis` kilojoule (Calorie)-dense which is a poor nutritional value and comes with highly refined with added colours, flavours and preservatives. But wait, if you quit junk food, what would you replace it with? Obviously with more fruit, nuts, salad, vegetables, fish, meat, chicken and everything else that is more healthy and good for you in the long run. You don't necessarily need to totally cut off sugar for effective weight loss programs, something that anti-sugar campaigners insist upon. Moderation is the key to lose weight healthily. Just eating less sugary junk food will do the job. Don’t worry about the little bits; just remove large chunks of sugar from your diet.
