At the beginning of each month, you start at the bottom of tier 1. Once you’ve used your allotted kWh’s, you go into Tier 2, then into Tier 3, and any kWh’s you use above and beyond Tier 3 is considered Tier 4. Actual Price and Number of kWh’s per Tier vary case by case, but these are relatively close estimates. David J.
