  2. Description SHARES combines existing High Frequency (HF) assets from 96 Federal, state, and industry organizations into a single emergency voice and data message handling network, totaling 1351members, supporting national security and emergency preparedness (NS/EP).

Interoperability Working Group (IWG) • The SHARES Interoperability Working Group (IWG) is group of organizational representatives who are responsible for recommending the requirements and procedures to the NCS for the SHARES HF Radio Program. • The SHARES IWG is comprised of representatives from each of the 96 contributing organizations that make up the SHARES HF Radio Program.
