Community & Enterprise • Support and co-ordinate implementation of the CDB strategy: • To secure an integrated approach to the delivery of services to the county’s communities and citizens • Baseline Information • To undertake research and provide baseline information on the economic, social and cultural development of the county • Community Development • To lead, reinforce, promote and guide local authority activity related to community development and social inclusion • Enterprise • To act as catalyst, link and agent for economic development

Giving Effect to national policy RAPID, CLAR, Tri-ministerial Initiative, Interagency Traveller Strategy 4. Political Enhancing the role of the Elected Member in the economic, social and cultural development of the county. 5. Community Enhancing & facilitating community input into the economic, social and cultural development of the county.
