The Bible: God's Word for Truth and Foundation of Faith

1. God breathed His message through 40 Holy Men over 1600 years and they wrote the 66 books which make up our 1 Bible 2 PETER 1 :21 Prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

But that objection is unfounded for several reasons. (1) Practically, there is no better place to begin than with what is self-claimed. (2) Legally, a man can testify in his own behalf in a court of law. Why should not the Bible be permitted to witness in its own behalf?
