  2. Foam Pumpkin Turkey Craft Kit • Hazard - Magnets holding the pumpkin shell pieces together can become loose, posing an ingestion hazard to young children. If swallowed, these magnets can link together inside a child's intestines and clamp onto body tissues, causing intestinal obstructions, perforations, sepsis and death. Internal injury from magnets can pose serious lifelong health effects. • This Arts and Crafts product might find its way into the childcare setting during the holidays. Thanksgiving in particular.

  3. Range Rider Ride-On Toy Car • Hazard: The battery can overheat, smoke, melt and catch on fire, posing fire and burn hazards to consumers. • This Ride-On toy may find its way into the childcare setting or home life anytime. Mostly during the spring/summer/fall seasons when children spend a lot of time outside playing.

  4. Dan-Dee “Chicken Dance” Tap Dance Easter Chicks • Hazard: The toy’s music can reach decibel levels that exceed ASTM F963 standard, posing a hearing damage hazard. • This toy could find its way into the childcare setting during Easter time. This toy could be used as a décor piece and seasonal toy or as a dramatic play item.

Baby PlayzoneCrawl & Cruise Playground • Hazard: The valve of the inflatable ball on this toy can come off and pose a choking hazard to young children. • This toy could find its way into an early childcare setting or home setting at anytime. As a form of motor development, hand-eye coordination development, etc.

Little People Play’n Go Campsite • Hazard: The plastic Sonya Lee figure in the play set can break at the waist, exposing small parts that pose a choking hazard to young children. • This toy can sneak into the childcare or home-site setting at anytime. Particularly during the summer when families are traveling and camping a lot.
