Student Achievement • 2012 MSA Reading: 91.9% of our students scored in the proficient or advanced range. • 2012 MSA Math: 90.6% of our students scored in the proficient or advanced range. • Approximately two-thirds of our students made the honor roll during the third marking period. • 15% of our total student body earned straight A’s during the third marking period.

  3. Middle School Organization • All students take reading, language arts, math, science, and social studies five days per week. • Specials (art, music, PE, and health) occur on an A-day/B-day schedule. • Each grade level has a dean who coordinates parent conferences, field trips, and other grade level events.

  4. Middle School Organization(continued) • Sixth grade academic classes are held in the sixth grade wing of the building. • We have one dean, three administrators, and two school counselors who work with our sixth grade students.

Extracurricular Activities • Activity buses run two times per week (Wednesdays and Thursdays) for students who participate in after-school activities or coach classes. • Clubs/activities are available for every interest from drama to sports. • More club information will be available at Back-to-School Night (9/11/13).
