Workshop at Ioannina The opening of the workshop was initiated by: Mr J. Giotakis (General Director of the Municipal Enterprise of Water Supply and Sewage of Ioannina) Mr. J. Pediaditakis (President of the Municipal Council) Mr. A. Papastavros (President of the Management Authority of the Lake Pamvotis) Mr. G. Stamoulakis (President of the Technical Chamber of Greece – Department of Epirus) In addition, addressed an opening letter at the ceremony: Mr. Xanthopoulos and Mr. Kalogiannis (deputy Ministers for the Environment, Physical Planning and Public Works) Mr. A. Andreopoulos (Rector of the National Technical University of Athens) Mr. Panozachos (General Secretary of the Epirus Prefecture)
Workshop at Ioannina The workshop included among others the following presentations: Mr J. Giotakis (General Director of the Municipal Enterprise of Water Supply and Sewage of Ioannina) Professor M.A. Mimikou (Director of the Laboratory of Hydrology and Water Resources Management) • Four television stations (TV1, ITV, COSMO TV, HPT) covered the workshop’s proceedings as well as several local newspapers • More than fifty engineers and scientists from different areas of expertise attended the conference
