  3. Maidens The Maidens (young women) are fellow gleaners who glean along side Ruth in the fields of Boaz. Ruth 2:8 Ruth 2:22-23

  13. One-Anotherness • Fellowship and friendship with other believers of like precious faith promotes spiritual growth and progress. Colossians 3:16 Colossians 3:13-14 1 Peter 3:8-11

  14. One-Anotherness • Growing Christians are always found in the company of other growing Christians. Romans 1:11-12 Galatians 6:1-3

  15. The main business of friendship is to sustain and make bearable each other’s burdens. We may do more of that as friends than we do anything else. Eugene Kennedy

  16. Maiden Madness • Satan divides to destroy. If he can keep believers apart from one another, He will ultimately win the spiritual battle in our lives. Divided we fall. United we stand 1 Corinthians 1:10-13 1 Corinthians 11:17-19 Proverbs 6:12-19

  17. Maiden Madness • There are other maidens not belonging to Boaz and who glean in other fields not belonging to Boaz. Do not join with them. Ruth 2:8 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 1 Corinthians 5:11

  18. Old Friends Old friends are best, I do agree, but to this fact I’ll hold; That everything must first be new before it can be old.

  19. That old friend whom you love so much; who’s staunch and true and bold, Was brand new on the day you met, though now you call him old.

  20. So make new friends each passing day— the years quickly unfold; And new friends whom you make today, will soon be classed as old.

  21. Then you will have a store of wealth that far surpasses gold; For all the friends who now are new You’ll soon be calling old. (author unknown)
