Facts about Baal • Baal was the Egyptian god of the sky, clouds, tempests, thunder and war. • Ba'al • Fact 2 on Baal: • This god of Egypt was 'adopted' during the 18th dynasty of the New Kingdom period of ancient Egyptian history from this ancient war god who was worshipped in Syria. • Fact 3 on Baal: • During the rise of the Egyptian Empire the ancient Egyptians were influenced by the cultures of many other countries.
