  2. Los Pecados De Maria combine the power of Hard Rock with the influences of their Latin heritage, to bring a loud and emotional mix to the rock en español genre. Formed in Chicago in 2004 the band was founded by lead vocalist Marialen Magaña. Her inspiration for the group came after writing what would later become the bands first single, “Por Si Una Vez”. Choosing the direction of rock, and using her influences of traditional Mexican art and music, she formed an image for the band that would shape the culture for Los Pecados. The band started coming together when Tijuana Mexico native Javier Cazares jumped on board. His aggressive approach to the lead guitar was only complimented by the percussive style of bassist Agustin Santana. Their experience in song writing only became enhanced by the solid legwork of drummer Alex Reynoso. Together the three musicians along with Marialen began to shape the style of rock she had envisioned for the band. Performing with World acts such as El Tri, Mago de Oz, Enanitos Verdes, Panteon Roccoco, Alejandra Guzman, and Gloria Trevi. The band’s live show has the energy and excitement that can only be experienced in person.

  3. Los Pecados De Maria combinan la fuerza de el Rock con las influencias de su herencia Latina, para crear una mescla fuerte y emocional de lo que es el Rock en Español. Formados en Chicago en 2004, la banda fue fundada por la vocalista Marialen Magaña. Su inspiracion por el grupo llego despues de escribir lo que despues seria el primer sencillo de la banda, “Por Si Una Vez”. Tomando la direccion de el Rock, y utilizando sus influencias de musica y arte tradicional Mexicana, formo una imagen para la banda que estableceria la cultura de Los Pecados de Maria. Cuando Javier Cazares, nativo de Tijuana Mexico se agrego a la banda, fue cuando comenzaron a revolucionar. Su forma agresiva de tocar la guitarra electrica fue complementada por el estilo fuerte y dominador de bajista Agustin Santana. Su experiencia en escribir musica se complemento con el trabajo preliminar solido de baterista Alex Reynoso. Los tres musicos juntos con Marialen comenzaron a moldear el estilo de Rock que ella avia contemplado para la banda. Los Pecados de Maria se han presentado con personalidades internacionales como El Tri, Mago de OZ, Enanitos Verdes, Panteon Roccoco, Alejandra Guzman, y Gloria Trevi. El show en vivo de Los Pecados de Maria contiene la energia y emocion que solamente se puede experimentar en persona.

  4. Por Si Una Vez opens with the emotional power of Marialen’s voice on Me Fui., giving listeners a sample of the Rock Latino that combines the traditional with the conventional rock. Acoustic Pop Empty Home displays some of the music Latin rockers are always looking to hear. Tequila, a fun party song, showcases the clever song writing tactics that keeps the band and their listeners singing. Song four is the title and single Por Si Una Vez. Marialen’s smokey voice, and passionate lyrics gives us an inside to the emotion that was the inspiration for the song. Soul on Fire is a slight departure of the bands style. Sung in English and Spanish, this song smooth rhythmic feel is an example of the bands willingness to experiment with their music. Other songs include rockers Todo Para Ti, Once Again, and Pecador. Songs like Promesa, and Don’t Let Me Be, are fun pop songs that round of a solid music set. Also included are two bonus tracks, the songs EL Rey, traditionally performed by Jose Alfredo Jimenez and Elefante, a children’s nursery rhyme. These two rockers can only be described as fun and entertaining, which is a tribute to the bands sense of humor and creativity.

  5. El disco “Por Si UnaVez” abre con la voz fuerte y emocional de Marialen en ‘Me Fui’., dando un ejemplo de el Rock Latino que conbina el tradicional con el Rock Convencional. La cancion Pop Acustico de ‘Empty Home’ expone algo de musica que los rockeros Latinos siempre buscan. ‘Tequila’, una cancion alegre, muestra la tactica de compositor que mantiene a todos cantando. La cancion numero cuatro es el titulo y sencillo ‘Por Si Una Vez’. La voz humiante de Marialen y la passion en la letra nos da una mirada hacia dentro de lo que fue la emocion e inspiracion. ‘Soul On Fire’ es un escape breve de el estilo de Los Pecados de Maria. Cantada en Espanol e Ingles, esta cancion suave y ritmica es un ejemplo de la disposicion de experimentar con su musica. Otras canciones rockeras incluyen ‘Todo Para ti’, ‘Once Again’, y ‘Pecador’. Canciones como ‘Promesa’, y ‘Don’t Let Me Be’, son canciones de Pop, que completan un set solido de musica. Tambien incluidos son dos bonus tracks, la cancion ‘El Rey’, tradicionalmente cantada con Mariachi, y ‘Elefante’, una cancion de cuna. Estas dos canciones a estilo de Los Pecados, solamente se pueden describir como entretenidas y divertidas, un tributo de humor y creatividad de la banda.
