  2. Denotative Meaning Snooty- being or characteristic of a person who has an offensive air of superiority and tends to ignore or disdain anyone regarded as inferior.

  3. Connotative Meaning Snooty- Usually used in negative reference by someone that is considered inferior and is treated with distain by the “snooty” individual; almost always used as an insult. The word is also considered informal, and would not typically be used in a formal conversation.

  7. By the way….. I chose the color of these slides to be purple because it is the color of royalty, and the color the royal people back in the day wore to show the extent of their wealth, and those people tended to be quite “snooty.”
