  3. Response Every year at Mica High School, the typical drama occurs, and the boring school days live on. But this year, the new girl Stargirl Caraway takes the school by storm. Stargirl isn't your average high school girl. Everywhere she goes, she carries along her beloved pet rat, Cinnamon. At lunch time, she sings, and strums her ukulele with pride. During class, Stargirl makes herself at home, draping cloths across her desk, and brings flowers for decoration. When it was raining, Stargirl went outside to dance. Sure enough students started to decorate their desks, dance in the rain, and bought ukuleles to strum in the cafeteria. In public and in private, Stargirl wore dramatic, theatrical clothing. She was definitely an unpredictable girl. When Leo Borlock- (also an eleventh grader) discovers Stargirl, his heart is stolen. To find out more about the lovebirds, Leo and Stargirl, read Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli.

  4. Exploration From my knowledge, I think that both books: Stargirl and Crash, have many comparisons. Throughout both books, they mostly discuss popularity. In the book Stargirl, students tease her, and talk nasty behind her back. In Crash, students prank and make fun of Penn Webb.

  5. My Thought on the Book Stargirl I think that Stargirl is a great book and I would recommend it to anybody ages 10+. THANKS FOR WATCHING.
