  2. How to fix the keyboard keys of an Acer Laptop?

  3. Due to an accidental drop or normal wear and tear for an extended period of time, there is dislodging and fallouts of the keyboard keys of an Acer laptop. Also, debris inside the keys makes them sticky or stops it from working. Fortunately, fixing the keyboard keys of your laptop is a quick process that doesn’t require taking the system to a repair shop. You just have to follow some basic steps provided by Acer Laptop Tech Support which are given below:

  4. First of all, shut down your system and flit it over. Then slide the release lever of the battery over and take it out from your system. • Then turn over the laptop and open the cover of it. Then see inside the open area on the keypad where the key would normally go. Check whether the plastic retaining clip is still within the gap. • Then go to the plastic retaining clip if it fell off the keyboard with the keys. Make use of a pair of tweezers to place the clip back inside the hole and then line up the gaps on the clip with the four raised nodules inside the keyboard gap.

  5. Then place them back into the plastic clip and press the key down until it sets into its place. • Then again turn back the system and with help of a screwdriver, remove the three screws on the left side of the case that is holding the keyboard in place. • Then push the thin end of a flat surface screwdriver under the LED indicator strip above the keyboard. Push it upward and take it out from the system

  6. Then lift the keypad up until you see the long ribbon cable running from the bottom of the keyboard towards the motherboard. After that, unplug the cable from the port on the motherboard and then take out the ribbon from its case. Now spray out the underside of the keys and the case of your system with canned air. • At last, reassemble your keypad, LED indicator strip and battery.

  7. In case, if you get stuck in any of the above steps, then immediately call us at our Acer Technical Support Number @ +1-844-6513-666 and get satisfactory assistance from our experts instantly. Original Source
