Stewardship = Discipleship • Stewardship is the care and use of what we have been given by God • A steward must maintain and protect, nurture and develop the 'talents' or property of his Master • God has blessed us, we in turn bless God by offering praise and thanksgiving for the goodness of gifts given • We offer praise and thanksgiving not only with our lips but with our lives • To be a good steward is to be a disciple of Christ!

  3. Types of Stewardship • Time – use to continue our mission of being Christ’s disciple • Talent – apply our personality, interests, skills • Treasure – give according to what we been given

What Zion Does: • Property Committee – maintains the facilities • Church School – teach our younger members about Christ • First Communion • Confirmation • Hospitality – provide fellowship • Pastoral Care – care for our sick • Choir & Music – enriches our worship • Altar Guild – prepares for our worship • Bible Study – Adult Christian Education • Outreach – support our community, help those in need
