  1. When my friend Mrs. Swarnet was 23, she went to New York. She saw an old lady carrying a $5 bill. She swiftly ran up to her, yanked it out of her hand, and ran to hide from the authorities. In order to keep them off of her trail she hid the money in a bank account in the Caymans. The bank account doubles her money every year. How much money does she have now that she is 29? How much will I, I mean she, have when she is 32? Can you write an equation for the situation because I, I mean she, would like to check my, uhh, her balance often?
