  5. Develop “Community Arts partnerships” and engagement through our distinctive Catholic identity in teaching, research and community engagement: Our school’s teaching, research and community partnerships have a distinctive focus. Our focus contrasts with Griffith University(arts practice), University of Queensland (fine arts/theory), Queensland University of Technology (creative industries) approaches. Our “Community Arts partnerships approach” seeks to allow specialisation as well as integration in the disciplines of Music, Drama and Visual Arts as they intersect with human services. Our focus of life long learning in Arts works within partnerships with churches, hospitals, choirs and theatre in social contexts developed with Catholic Hospitals, Catalyst, Conservatorium of Music, Queensland Art Gallery, schools and various community arts collaborators.
