  1. Post-Flowering Stage Insect Pests Introduction Number of pest species inflict damage to crops during their growth and development in the field. Some pests are associated with specific crop growth stage while others may occur during more than one or during all crop growth stages. It is imperative to study pest profile of crops for better understanding of crop-pest interactions. Post-flowering stage pests mainly damage reproductive plant parts and comprise of pests such as fruit borers, ear cutting caterpillar, stem borer etc. and are thus economically very important.
