USB8100X(SGDY0007401) and LG-DC300DJ serial (SGDY0007301 ) can be used for R- connect as well as PC sync. 2. The phone is working in Speaker mode, but speaker icon is not displayed. Is it a hand set problem? Ans :If the set is in Speaker Mode, and MINI SD card is inserted in the phone, the speaker phone icon will not be displayed, and the icon of SD card will be displayed. 3. A : if this mode is selected then all song will playe. A :If this mode is selected then all song will be played and will repeat again 5. I cannot increase or decrease volume in MP3 play mode. Is it phone problem? Ans. No If the Key guard option in MP3 is selected on then all keys except “End” key will be disabled. To enable select it off “go to Menu->Multimedia->MP3 player->Key guard”. 6. I have downloaded 150 songs in MINI SD card but only a few songs is visible. Is the SD card faulty or phone problem? Ans. This can happen in either of the 2 cases, a) The mini SD card, has 3 folders 1.Image 2.Sound.3.Movies; and MP3 songs will be played only when the MP3 file is saved in “sound” folder. b) File name of the of the song should not exceeds 31 characters. 7. Can I use the battery used for RD5130 battery in RD6230? Ans. Yes, but Stand by time and talk time will be less than original Battery, the capacity of RD6230 battery is 1000mah as compared to RD5130 battery capacity is 850mah.

Does photo caller ID works in RD6230? • Ans. if animated ring tone has been selected then photo caller ID will not be displayed. • To display photo caller ID during call , deselect animated ring tone. • 9. How many Phone number can be saved? • Ans. RD6230 Supports 2000 phone entries. Each entry supports 4 phone number,1email ID • and memo. • 10. What is the message (SMS/MMS) storage capacity? • Ans. In case of SMS; 30 messages in inbox.30 messages in outbox(15 sent/15 unsent). 30 messages in Archive; 30 messages in draft; 30 in template(10 fixed/20 editable) can be saved. • In case of MMS 5 messages can be stored in Inbox;. 4 sent and 4 unsent in out box. 5 in Draft. 11 fixed and 4 editable templates can be saved & One Voice message can be saved. In case Inbox is full, 15 notification in Inbox will be saved. • 11. What is LMS? • Ans. LMS is long message service. One can send a message up to 462 character. The • message will be sent in 3 consecutive SMSs. If the receiver set supports LMS, he will receive as one message, otherwise as 3 messages. • 12. What is SMS on call reject feature and how it works ? • Ans. In this feature one can notify the caller by sending a SMS; if he doesn’t want to receive the call. During “incoming call “ “SMS on call reject “ symbol will be displayed in right bottom side of the display. By pressing “Soft key 2” one can select the option. • 13. Will it support all song files irrespective of format.? • Ans. It supports only MP3 format songs. And the file name should be less than 31character. • 14. Can MP3 songs be downloaded from PC? • Ans. Yes MP3 songs can be downloaded from PC to SD card. Using PC Sync. • When I transfer Movie from PC to SD card, I can not see movie. • Ans. The various movie formats available are .MPEG, .AVI, .DAT, .MJP etc. RD6230 supports only MJP format. Movie in other format can not be viewed in RD6230.
