DRY BONES. The hand of the LORD came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry.

  1. DRY BONES The hand of the LORD came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry. EZEK 37:1-2

  2. THE VISION • Ezekiel is carried away in the spirit • He sees a valley filled with Dry Bones • God asks, “Can these Bones Live” • Ezekiel replies, “O Lord God you know”

  3. THE Prophecy • Ezekiel prophecies to the dry bones • Hear the word of the lord • The bones were assembled into bodies • Then the bones received the breath

  4. THE MEANING • The bones represented Israel • They were cut off and without hope • They would experience a restoration • In the future, God would renew Israel

  5. THE APPLICATION • Restoration requires two steps • Hearing the word of the Lord • Obeying the word of the Lord • Then, We can truly live again • The Prodigal Son…Luk 15:11-32 • The Faithful who die…1Th 4:16

THE INVITATION But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, And has made us alive together with christ (by grace you have been saved)…For by been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast EPHESIANS 2:4-5, 8-9
