  4. Getting Started • Drilling with Standard (inches) * To avoid sliding, slowly place the drill over the aluminum sheet and manually turn the reel so it creates a small notch. Do not use a striker pin.

  5. Getting Started • Countersinking * Always Contersink clockwise

  6. Clecos • The clecos should be placed starting from the middle and ending at the sides.

  7. Getting started • Drilling with Aeronautical Standard ( Decimal )/Cleco

  8. Getting Started • Dimpling • Using a mechanical piston • Using the Dimpling Clamp

  9. Getting Started • Pneumatic Countersinking * Alternate procedure for dimpling in places in which this procedure is not the best option due to the sheet’s width.

  10. Riveting * Choose specific die **  Not recommended X Not Applicable.
