  1. Interesting Facts: 7 November 1867 Marie Curie was born on 7 November 1867. She was a Polish born French physicist and chemist and is most famous for her work on radioactivity and was the first person to receive 2 Nobel Prizes. One in 1903 for Physics, won jointly with her husband Pierre and another scientist for their discovery of radioactivity and the second for Chemistry in 1911. 7 November – 11 November World Nursery Rhyme Week Nursery Rhymes play an important part in our early childhood as they help us with our language and communication skills. Remembrance Day Friday 11th November is Remembrance Day which is a memorial day observed in the Commonwealth of Nations member states since the end of the First World War to remember the members of their armed forces who have died in the line of duty.There will be an early break time on Friday, in order to have a 2 minute silence at 11am.

  5. Well done Well done to Emily, Libby and Alex for passing their Level 1 in Swimming. Here they are with their certificates. Well done to Tamsin for passing her Level 5 in Swimming. Good job, Tamsin!

  6. Well done Well done to Madaleine for winning two trophies and rosettes! Madaleine came first place in the lead rein class with a horse named Badger, at the County Show. She also came third place for leading a pony named Gypsy. Well done to Madaleine, Badger and Gypsy!

  7. Well done Well done to the Papdale Whirlwinds who competed in the Fun 5z Netball Tournament at Picky on Saturday. Leah, Hannah, Jenny, Charlotte, Alannah, Tallis, Brogan and Isla – good work, girls!

  8. Well done Well done to the Papdale Cyclones who competed in the Fun 5z Netball Tournament at Picky on Saturday. Raegan, Eilidh, Megan, Ellie, Lauren, Freya and Emily – good work, girls!
