  2. Who We Are Laser Networking, Inc. (LaserNet) is a full service Transportation Management Company (TMC), headquartered near Detroit, Michigan. Our service offerings includes door-to-door intermodal stack train service, TOFC and COFC transportation in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. We hold contracts with all major rail and steamship operators and are partnered with a large network of quality, dedicated drayage carriers throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Over the road full truckload, LTL, expedited services, and Ocean Freight are supported through our brokerage authority and our growing network of qualified carriers. Our transportation products are successfully marketed throughout the country through a network of regional operating and sales offices that rely on relationships with other transportation organizations or individuals who are authorized to market and sell our service through an exclusive agent partnership. The structure of this agent program allows us to attract highly qualified individuals or companies that primarily desire expansion in their service offerings to their customer base while still focusing on quality and personalized service.

Product Features Rail Price Negotiation Origin Car Ordering Railcar Billing Pro-Active Shipment Monitoring Daily Tracking Reports Release at Destination Single Point of Contact Customer Benefits Lasernet will research the receivers rail capabilities and negotiate a through rail boxcar rate with origin rail carrier. Car orders are placed directly with railroads and monitored until the empty is placed for loading. LaserNet waybills the boxcar shipment with the appropriate railroads immediately after car is loaded. After the car has been billed and released, LaserNet tracks the boxcar until it is placed in transit, a problem log is generated with the rail carrier and an action plan is established to get the car back on track. Tracking reports are sent to the shipper and consignee on a daily basis so the plans can be made for unloading at destination. Once a car is empty at destination, LaserNet will release the empty car with the appropriate rail carrier. As a single point of contact, we make the calls that need to be made allowing you the ability to reallocate resources that would normally handle the day to day rail issues to other areas of your business.
