In Vitro fertilization is a an assisted reproductive technology (ART) , the process under which one under which the egg is merged with sperm outside the body and manually putting them in a laboratory dish / a glass (in vitro). Attaining the final pregnancy fertilized egg undergoes embryo culture and is then transferred to woman's uterus after that.

  3. What are the cases which requires IVF treatment ? 1.The disorders related to ovulation, uterine fibroids, and premature ovarian failure in found women. 2. Issues related to sperm motility and decreased sperm count in males. 3. Removal of Fallopian tubes in women. 4. Blocked or damaged fallopian tubes. 5. Genetic disorders in men and women.

  4. Steps involved In Vitro Fertilization(IVF) process 1. Before the beginning the process certain medications are being given by experts stimulation of egg production. An examination of ovaries through trans-vaginal ultrasound along with blood test samples are taken to check the hormonal level.

  5. 2. The second process involves the retrieval of the egg by performing a minor surgical procedure through vaginal ultrasound. The medications are given to reduce any discomfort. 3. The third step includes the securing of a sperm sample and the most

  6. 4. The most active sperm is then mixed with the egg and stored in a lab dish for fertilization. This process is called insemination. In cases of low probability, intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) may be used where a single sperm is injected directly into the egg in an attempt to achieve fertilization.

  7. 5. The final and last step includes the transfer of embryo into woman's uterus through a small tube, three to five days following egg retrieval and fertilization.
