CODASUR Multidisciplinary Training Seminars Definition and Objectives CODASUR is an entity formed by the union of motor sport institutions from the countries of South America that have been granted the Sporting Authority by the FIA Objectives: Among its objectives is to promote, coordinate, and organize international motor sports competitions, like the Rally, Formula 3, Trucks, Top Race, Karting, and Auto Sport & Clasics.

CODASUR Multidisciplinary Training Seminars Definition of the project objective Given that the Rallies category is one of the top categories that visits the CODASUR countries, with South American drivers who carry out the management schedule. They give a small workshop to get to know the organization's whole and to be able to train safety commissioners, technical commissioners, and sports commissioners using questions based on the specific regulations prepared by the organizator on the sports code, designed to analyze the knowledge and strength that can demonstrate knowledge of these fundamental rules: - Field work - Safety

CODASUR Multidisciplinary Training Seminars Provisional project design: Given the number of accreditations for drivers, mentioned earlier, the current management of the CODASUR Comisión De Rally decided to reduce the South American competitition to 1000 kms. Across borders into neighbouring countries, this reduction could occur for 2011.

CODASUR Multidisciplinary Training Seminars Assessment of the project's provisional design - The skills demanded by the design require major participation from the drivers. - Driver ground transport has been made easier, and teams can work together with the drivers, and in that sense, they can reduce costs and participant days. The efforts of the ASNs in countries involving customs will not yield positive results while the teams continue to deal with problems when passing through customs (lower cost = fewer days).

CODASUR Multidisciplinary Training Seminars • Project purpose (objective) • In order to maximize the purpose of human resources • for each of the countries organizing the Rally • and consistent with some of the objectives of the • FIA, namely: • To promote the improvement of safety standards in all • areas of motor sports • - To provide effective management for motor sports • To encourage and implement the adoption of common standards • for motor sports worldwide • - To promote and develop the forms of the sports at all levels

CODASUR Multidisciplinary Training Seminars Project cost: For this project, we would like to be paid by the FIA Institute, who has an agreement that provides for the International Automobile Federation, a non-profit international organization, that develops and improves the safety and sustainability of the motor sport.

CODASUR Multidisciplinary Training Seminars • Specific objectives • Immediate implementation of training seminars for: • - "Safety" human resources • - Training for test directors • - Trianing for safety officials • - Training for sports commissioners • - Training for field commissioners • - Training for technical commissioners • - Training for observers • Seminars intended for young drivers that participate in • Rally in our countries • Program seminars intended to build awareness and responsibility • among all drivers that take part in these sports events. • Attendance within a specialized medical community

  18. CODASUR Multidisciplinary Training Seminars • Our request • Training for a group of professionals who are • contributing to CODASUR sporting activities and • who can be involved in seminars: • a) Administration of an emergency or medical trauma • b) Special attention in the event of an accident • c) Doctors, nurses, and paramedics • who are qualified and experienced in working with • acute trauma, to carry out practical skills each day, • with experience in motor sports, • with the obvious options as members of the medical team.
