The Snug Harbor community, established in 1983, has utilized the right-of-way (ROW) parking for over 30 years. Despite a verbal approval from the town in 2008 for an entrance sign, recent changes have resulted in losses of approximately 75 feet of ROW. Mediation has facilitated nearly 6,000 sq. feet for overflow parking, accommodating 10-12 vehicles while adhering to town and HOA restrictions. A proposed traffic pattern would enhance accessibility. The aim is to formalize an MOU for exclusive ROW use by residents at minimal cost, backed by a long-standing precedent.
