  2. Can You Take God to Work? A. The surveys say ... “most don’t.” B. The Scripture says ... “every Christian should.” 1. We are called to be God’s “salt and light.” You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt has become tasteless, it is good for nothing except to be thrown and trampled under foot by men ... You are the light of the world ... let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works and glorify your father who is in heaven. Matthew 5:13-16

What evidence of “God at work in me” will co-workers see? • I will work hard. • I will work well. • I will become a team builder/encourager • I will become responsive to authority. • I will become a standard bearer.

What you will need for your ministry at work: • A growing and credible Christian lifestyle (Level 1) Urge slaves to obey their masters and try their best to satisfy them. They must not talk back, nor steal, but must show themselves to be entirely trustworthy. In this way, they will make people want to believe in our Savior and God. Titus 2:9

What you will need for your ministry at work: • A growing and credible Christian lifestyle (Level 1) • Prayer for opportunity and courage • A basic evangelism skill If anybody asks why you believe as you do, be ready to tell him and do it in a gentle and respectful way. 1 Peter 3:15
