The High Cost of DUI: Save Lives and Avoid Financial Ruin

Driving under the influence (DUI) can devastate your life and those around you. In Colorado, a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08% leads to DUI charges. The average DUI costs about $10,000, not to mention the long-term impacts on employment and insurance. Each year, nearly 13,000 people die in alcohol-related traffic accidents. It's crucial to plan ahead: designate a sober driver, call a taxi, or ask a friend for help. If you see someone about to drive impaired, act responsibly—take their keys to prevent tragic outcomes.
