3. Fugui Cape Lighthouse Fugui Cape Lighthouse was built in 1897 at Fugui Cape, Shimen District, New Taipei City. Standing at Taiwan's northernmost tip, the lighthouse is characterized by black and white stripes. This is the second lighthouse constructed by the Japanese in Taiwan during the colonial times, as a part of a submarine communication cables and navigation facilities plan. Transportation： (1)Nat'l Fwy 1 → Exit at Badu Interchange → Hwy 62 → Prov.
